Investors are pricing in a one-in-five chance the Bank of England will cut its benchmark interest rate this year as uncertainty stemming from Britain’s referendum on European Union membership and concerns about growth cloud the outlook. Policy makers will announce their latest decision on Thursday together with minutes of their discussions. While all 43 economists in a Bloomberg survey predict the benchmark will be left at a record-low 0.5 percent, the focus will be on whether officials discussed easing after Governor Mark Carney said last month there is room to loosen policy if needed.
