China’s banks still have some way to go in selling their services to Asian companies, a study of four business areas by research firm East & Partners shows. Only 9.1 percent of Asian companies outside China have working relationships with the nation’s largest banks for cash management, while 14.4 percent work with the lenders for trade finance, the survey of 848 corporates shows. By comparison, more than 90 percent of Chinese companies have ties to the lenders for those two services.
