Winning Ticket Sold in $1.5 Billion Powerball Jackpot, NYT Says

At least one winning ticket was sold in the record $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot, the New York Times reported.

With results from other states still to come, California Lottery officials announced on Twitter that a person in Chino Hills bought a ticket with the winning combination, according to the newspaper. The chances of taking the top prize were one in 292 million, the New York Times said.

The winning numbers were 4-8-19-27-34 and the Powerball number 10, according to the Powerball website.
