Canadian Solar Inc. sold a 10-megawatt plant in Ontario to Concord Green Energy Inc., the second deal between the two companies this week.
The Earthlight LP solar park in Georgina, Ontario, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Toronto, was valued at C$69.4 million ($50 million), according to a statement today from Guelph, Ontario-based Canadian Solar. Concord, which develops and operates renewable-power projects, is based in Vancouver.
On Monday, Canadian Solar said it had sold Concord a 9-megawatt plant in Elmvale, Ontario, for C$65.6 million. The solar-panel manufacturer has sold five plants totaling 49 megawatts of capacity to Concord in the past year and a half, according to the statement.
