Credit Suisse Group AG hired Cembra Money Bank AG’s Antoine Boublil as chief financial officer of its Swiss unit.
Boublil will stay in his current job as CFO of Cembra until May while a successor is sought, Cembra said in a statement on Tuesday. Dominique Gerster, a Zurich-based spokesman for Credit Suisse, confirmed the appointment.
Credit Suisse plans to sell shares in its Swiss unit to the public to raise as much as 4 billion francs ($3.9 billion) by 2017 as part Chief Executive Officer Tidjane Thiam’s strategic overhaul.
Cembra, which offers consumer loans, said Boublil has been CFO for four years, playing an important role in the lender’s 2013 initial public offering.
