China to Contribute A$20 Million to Flight MH370 Search Mission

China will contribute A$20 million to the search mission for Malaysia Airlines’ Flight 370 jet, according to a statement on the government’s website on Saturday.

Premier Li Keqiang told Australia’s Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull during a meeting in Kuala Lumpur that China hopes Malaysia and Australia will continue efforts to search the plane, according to the statement.

The commercial jet disappeared in March 2014 with 239 people on board.
