French President Francois Hollande was meeting Wednesday with his key cabinet members as police in a Paris suburb besieged suspects in last week’s terrorist killings.

The meeting at the Elysee palace in central Paris involved Prime Minister Manuel Valls, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Justice Minister Christiane Taubira, and Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.

Hollande’s office has said he’s maintaining his planned engagements today, which include a full cabinet meeting at 10:00 a.m. and a speech to French mayors at noon.
