Commonfund Capital, the private equity and venture capital arm of the institutional investment firm Commonfund, is losing its chief executive officer and managing director, according to the company.
CEO Donald Pascal and Managing Director Greg Jansen will stay at the fund until June 2016, the end of the current fiscal year, Keith Luke, a spokesman for Commonfund, said Tuesday in a phone interview. Pascal has been in the role since July 2013. Jansen joined the firm in 1995. Peter Burns, president of Commonfund Capital, will take over the CEO position.
Commonfund Capital, based in Wilton, Connecticut, had $12 billion committed as of June. The overarching investment firm Commonfund manages about $25 billion for more than 1,350 institutions as of Sept. 30, according to its website. It provides outsourcing services and investment strategies to clients. Fortune earlier today reported the departures.
