Nigerian Army Warns of Boko Haram Cluster Bomb Threat in North

Nigerian military called for higher vigilance by the public after army engineers recovered caches of cluster bombs in northern Adamawa State.

Boko Haram Islamist militants have used the weapons in the past and they are often deployed in places where large groups gather such as markets and places of worship, according to an e-mailed statement from the Nigerian Defence Headquarters.
