Senvion GmbH won a 109-megawatt order to supply turbines to a wind-power project in the Scottish Highlands, its biggest U.K. onshore contract.

The Hamburg-based company will supply 32 3.4-megawatt turbines to Blue Energy Co.’s Beinneun wind farm, Senvion said in an e-mail. Once commissioned in 2017, they’ll have capacity to power 59,000 homes.

The contract, Senvion’s fifth with Blue Energy this year, also comprises a 20-year maintenance agreement.
