J-Power Begins Building 16MW Wind Power Station in North Japan

Electric Power Development Co., also known as J-Power, began construction of a 16-megawatt wind power station in the northern prefecture of Akita.

The plant will start running in February 2017, J-Power said in a statement on Monday. Enercon GmbH will supply seven 2.3-megawatt turbines for the project.
