SAP CEO Bill McDermott in Good Condition After Accident

SAP SE Chief Executive Officer Bill McDermott has been discharged from a hospital after an accident at the home of his relatives, the company said in a statement.

McDermott is in good condition and expected to make a full recovery, the business-software maker said Thursday. SAP representatives declined to say where or when the accident occurred nor did they provide any information on the nature of McDermott’s injuries.

The 53-year-old McDermott has been sole CEO of Walldorf, Germany-based SAP since May 2014, and is the first American to hold the role. He had been co-CEO since 2010.
