Bank of America Corp. analyst Simon Greenwell was named the best head of a European equity research department covering the biggest stocks in a ranking by Sammons Associates, a London-based recruitment firm.
Deutsche Bank AG analyst Paul Reynolds came in second and Chris Hogbin of Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. was third, according to the survey of fund managers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Charles Hall of Peel Hunt was rated the best head of a small- and mid-capitalization equity-research department for the second year running. Pascal Moura at Deutsche Bank was voted the best European head of research for emerging markets.
“Recruitment within the equity markets started 2015 in a buoyant mood, this has continued post-election,” Sammons Chairman Jonathan Evans said in the statement.
