Chicago Tops Lightning, Tying Stanley Cup Finals at 2 Games Each

Brandon Saad scored early in the third period and the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 to tie the Stanley Cup Finals at two games apiece.

Jonathan Toews opened the scoring for host Chicago six minutes, 40 seconds into the second period Wednesday night, and Alex Killorn tied the game five minutes later.

Goalie Corey Crawford stopped 24 shots for the Blackhawks. Andrei Vasilevskiy, 20, was in goal for the Lightning because Ben Bishop was scratched with a lower-body injury. Tampa Bay didn’t provide more details on Bishop’s injury.
