Citigroup’s Forese Says Fixed-Income Trading Shows Small Decline

Citigroup Inc. said its fixed-income trading revenue is showing a “small decline” so far in the second quarter compared with a year ago.

Spread products in the business are underperforming macro products, Jamie Forese, the New York-based bank’s head of the Institutional Clients Group, said Wednesday at a conference in New York.

Equity trading is “a little better,” Forese said.
