Murray Wins Fourth Set to Tie Djokovic in French Open Semifinal

Andy Murray won the fourth set to tie his French Open tennis semifinal with top seed Novak Djokovic as they look to face Stan Wawrinka for the title.

The third-seeded Briton evened the match at 3-6, 3-6, 7-5, 7-5. They were halted last night -- tied 3-3 in the fourth -- by the threat of a thunderstorm as the evening light faded.

Earlier yesterday, Wawrinka overcame stifling heat and a blister on his finger to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and reach his first final in Paris. Wawrinka edged the Frenchman 6-3, 6-7 (1-7), 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 as temperatures rose to as high as 33 degrees Celsius (91 degrees Fahrenheit) on the main Court Philippe Chatrier.

After the semifinal, American Serena Williams will play Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic for the women’s title.
