The final consumer sentiment index for May fell to 90.7. It was 88.6 in the preliminary estimate. The index was 95.9 last month.

  • Expectations index fell to 84.2 vs. 88.8 last month.
  • Current economic conditions index fell to 100.8 vs. 107.0 last month.
  • Expected change in median prices during the next year rose to 2.8 vs. 2.6 last month.
  • Expected change in median prices during the 5-10 years rose to 2.8 vs. 2.6 last month.
