Societe Generale SA named Alexandre Courbon head of French mergers and acquisitions and said Hubert Preschez will assume responsibility for global relations with large French companies.
The bank also named Jean-Baptiste Giros and Alexis Le Touze co-heads of equity capital markets for France, Belgium and Luxembourg starting June 1, the Paris-based company said in a statement Tuesday. Giros was previously a managing director in that group, while Le Touze oversaw strategic investment solutions for Societe Generale’s private-banking business.
Courbon previously handled M&A transactions for large listed companies. Preschez had run French corporate finance since 2012.
