Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and AltaFund agreed to buy two office towers in Paris’s La Defense financial district and plan to refurbish the buildings.

The Pascal Towers, which are 20 and 29 stories high, were developed as IBM Europe’s headquarters 30 years ago. They are currently leased to France’s environment ministry through 2016, according to a statement Tuesday by Altarea Cogedim, which operates AltaFund.
