Antonio Lucio, who oversees Visa Inc.’s marketing, advertising and communications, will become chief marketing officer for Hewlett-Packard Co.’s personal computer and printer company when the technology giant splits later this year.
Visa announced earlier today that Lucio would leave the company on April 24. He had been with Visa since 2007.
Hewlett-Packard is scheduled to split into two companies by Nov. 1. One will be named Hewlett Packard Enterprise and will focus on supplying businesses with software, services, and hardware. Lucio will join the other company, HP Inc., which will sell personal computers and printers to businesses and consumers, Hewlett-Packard said Tuesday in a statement.
HP Inc., which will be run by Dion Weisler, has yet to appoint a chief financial officer or general counsel.
