Sept. 3 (Bloomberg) -- BayWa AG, the Munich-based company that has brought more than 800 megawatts of renewable power online, bought an 80-megawatt wind farm development in South Dakota from B&H Wind LLC.
Construction of the B&H Wind Phase 1 project, which reaches into Charles Mix, Bon Homme, and Hutchinson counties, began last year and will be completed in 2015, BayWa’s renewables unit said today in an e-mailed statement. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Power will be sold to NorthWestern Corp. and General Electric Co. is providing 43 1.85-megawatt turbines for the project.
