Aug. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Aboitiz Power Corp. and Norway’s SN Power have won approval to build a 350-megawatt hydropower project in the Philippines.
The Department of Energy of the Philippines has agreed to a 25-year renewable energy service contract that will be extendable for another 25 years, according to a statement from Cebu City-based Aboitiz Power.
The plant will be built at Ifugao by a venture between the two companies.
