SoftBank’s 19.6MW Osaka Solar Plant to Begin Operating Next Week

A 19.6-megawatt solar station developed by SoftBank Corp.’s clean-energy unit will begin operating on July 17.

The plant in Izumiotsu City, Osaka prefecture, will produce enough electricity for about 5,700 households, SB Energy Corp. said in a statement today.

SB Energy has been developing solar projects across Japan and is planning a wind power station off the coast of Ibaraki prefecture.
