July 7 (Bloomberg) -- UBS AG named Marcos Grodetzky, who has served as an executive at Cielo SA and Fibria Celulose SA, as a senior adviser to its investment banking business in Brazil, according to a memo obtained by Bloomberg News.
Grodetzky will work with Gerard Cremoux, head of UBS’s division known as Corporate Client Solutions in Latin America, according to the memo, which was confirmed by the Swiss bank.
Grodetzky’s previous roles include chief financial officer of Cielo, Latin America’s biggest card-payment processor, and CFO at Fibria, the world’s biggest pulp maker, according to the memo. He was also head of global banking in Brazil for HSBC Holdings Plc, the memo shows.
