July 4 (Bloomberg) -- MHI Vestas Offshore Wind A/S won an order for four 8-megawatt wind turbines for a project in western Denmark.
The turbines will be supplied to Skovgaard Invest ApS and Energicenter Nord for the Velling Maersk project, the joint venture between Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and Vestas Wind Systems A/S said in a statement today.
Each of the four 8-megawatt turbines will be set up onshore to test the installation, operations and maintenance before the venture begins deliveries offshore, according to the statement.
Installation of the turbines is expected to begin in mid-2015, according to the statement.
