July 2 (Bloomberg) -- NTT Facilities Inc. and Hitachi Capital Corp. began operations at separate solar power stations northeast of Tokyo.
A 12.7 megawatt solar station started running in Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi Capital, a Tokyo-based provider of consumer financing services, said in a statement today.
NTT Facilities’ 6.5 megawatt solar power plant started running on June 20, the company said in a statement, adding that an opening ceremony was held today.
The two projects are part of a 28.4 megawatt solar park where operators jointly set up and run a substation to save construction and maintenance cost, according to a statement by Hitachi Capital.
