July 2 (Bloomberg) -- Centrotherm Photovoltaics AG won an order from China’s Shaanxi Non-ferrous Photovoltaic Technology Co. to supply a solar-cell assembly line in the Asian country.
The 15 million euro ($20.5 million) order is to equip a 380-megawatt line for multi-crystalline cells and a 120-megawatt line for mono-crystalline cells, the Blaubeuren, Germany-based company said today in an e-mailed statement. The Chinese company plans to expand capacity to 1 gigawatt, it said.
