June 26 (Bloomberg) -- Fiera Capital Corp., which oversees C$80 billion ($75 billion) of assets, said it hired Angus Rogers to manage the Fiera Quantum Income Opportunities Fund.
Rogers said in a phone interview he will relocate to Toronto from New York, where he headed high-yield trading at Jefferies Group LLC until March.
The new fund will invest in securities in different parts of a company’s capital structure, and use hedging tools to manage credit and interest-rate risk, according to the statement. In his new role, Rogers will work with Greg Foss, Fiera portfolio manager.
