June 25 (Bloomberg) -- Greencoat U.K. Wind Plc, a fund that raised 260 million pounds ($442 million) through an initial share sale in London last year, agreed to buy two wind farms for 96.2 million pounds.
Greencoat will buy an 18.4-megawatt project in Aberdeenshire in Scotland from a unit of BayWa AG for 43.3 million pounds, it said in an e-mailed statement today. It will buy a second, 24-megawatt project in Wales from Velocita Energy Developments Ltd. Both started working last year and the acquisitions are due to be complete on June 30.
