June 3 (Bloomberg) -- Seajacks International Ltd. completed construction of a vessel used to install offshore wind turbines.
The construction was financed by six banks led by Mizuho Bank Ltd., Marubeni Corp., a Japanese trading company which owns a 55 percent stake in Seajacks said in a statement today.
Development Bank of Japan Inc., ING Bank NV, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Ltd., Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Ltd. and Swedbank AB also took part in the syndication, Marubeni said in the statement.
Seajacks, acquired in 2012 by Marubeni and Innovation Network Corp. of Japan, owns three other vessels, according to the statement.
