May 14 (Bloomberg) -- Vestas Wind Systems A/S won a 63-megawatt deal with Germany’s KGE Windpark Schipkau Nord GmbH.
The order is for 19 V112 3.3-megawatt wind turbines, with an option for another eight machines, Vestas said today in a statement on its website.
Delivery of the turbines to the Klettwitz II project in Brandenburg is due to start in the second half, with the wind park due for commissioning in the first quarter of 2015, Vestas said. The contract includes a 15-year service plan.
