May 9 (Bloomberg) -- International Finance Corp., the World Bank’s private-sector financing arm, will work with Asia Green Capital Pte Ltd. to develop clean-energy projects in Southeast Asia.
IFC InfraVentures and Asia Green’s first project will be the development of a 62.5-megawatt wind farm in Indonesia, the companies said today in an e-mailed statement. Thereafter they will develop a series of wind and solar power plants in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets.
About 30 percent of the population of Indonesia lack access to power, according to the statement.
