May 8 (Bloomberg) -- Connecticut Water Service Inc., New England’s largest publicly traded water company, reported first-quarter profit climbed about 14 percent on higher revenue.
Net income increased to $3 million from $2.6 million in the year-earlier period as sales grew 2.4 percent to $22 million, the Clinton, Connecticut-based utility said today in a statement. The utility supplies drinking water to about 400,000 people throughout Connecticut and Maine.
