May 6 (Bloomberg) -- Suzlon Energy Ltd., India’s second-biggest wind-turbine maker, won a 99-megawatt order from PowerWorks LLC for wind farms in California and Illinois.
Suzlon will supply 47 machines and oversee their operations and maintenance for two years under the contract, the Pune, India-based company said today in an e-mailed statement. It didn’t provide a value for the deal.
Suzlon agreed with its largest bondholders to restructure $485 million of debt last week, helping to restore customer confidence and improve liquidity to boost operations.
