May 2 (Bloomberg) -- Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. denied a report that Chief Executive Officer Todd Kozel is leaving the Kurdistan-focused oil explorer under pressure from shareholders.
“There’s no truth in the rumors,” Terence Franklin, a spokesman for Hamilton, Bermuda-based Gulf Keystone, said by phone when asked whether Kozel was leaving the company.
Yesterday, Sky News cited people it didn’t identify as saying directors held talks this week on Kozel’s exit and he may step down within months after disputes over his pay amid losses at the company.
