April 23 (Bloomberg) -- Marubeni Corp., a Japanese trading company, has completed an 82-megawatt solar-power station in the southwestern prefecture of Oita.
The plant, the largest in Japan, began commercial operations on March 12, the Tokyo-based company said in a statement today.
Marubeni is also building a 28.3-megawatt solar-power station in Miyagi prefecture in northern Japan, the company said earlier this month.
