LeBron James Jersey Tops NBA’s Most Popular List for Sixth Time

LeBron James’s Miami Heat jersey was the No. 1 seller on the National Basketball Association’s online store this season, marking his sixth time leading the retail category.

Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, who led the NBA in scoring this season at 32 points per game, ranked second in jersey sales, the league said in a news release without disclosing actual sales or revenue figures.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was third even though he played just six games; Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose ranked fourth after being limited to 10 contests; and Golden State’s Stephen Curry was fifth.

Completing the top 10 was the New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony, Miami’s Dwyane Wade, the Los Angeles Clippers’ Chris Paul, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving and the Houston Rockets’ James Harden.

The two-time defending NBA champion Heat also led the NBA in overall merchandise sales on, as they went 54-28 to take the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs behind the Indiana Pacers (56-26). The postseason gets under way in two days.

The Lakers ranked second in sales even though their 27-55 record was sixth-worst among the NBA’s 30 teams. Chicago was third, followed by Oklahoma City, New York, the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets.
