April 16 (Bloomberg) -- Louis Dreyfus Commodities Suisse SA took all the white, or refined, sugar delivered against the expired May futures contract on NYSE Liffe in London, according to an interim tender report on the exchange’s website.
The delivery came to 800 contracts, the exchange said today. Each contract represents 50 metric tons, equal to 40,000 tons in total.
The largest share of the deliveries, or 442 contracts, came from Mexico, the data showed. Another 278 lots came from Guatemala, and 80 from El Salvador.
Broker UBS Ltd. acted as the seller on behalf of clients.
