March 20 (Bloomberg) -- Lanxess AG, the world’s largest maker of synthetic rubber, said various strategic options will be considered when incoming Chief Executive Officer Matthias Zachert starts work next month.
Teams are in place and awaiting Zachert’s input, Chief Financial Officer Bernhard Duettmann said on a conference call today. Duettmann said he’s already talked with Zachert, and Cologne, Germany-based Lanxess may announce an initial framework of ideas after first-quarter results. That will probably be followed by a more detailed plan at an investors’ day scheduled to be held in September, Duettmann said.
