March 18 (Bloomberg) -- The Rolling Stones called off a tour of Australia and New Zealand following the death of L’Wren Scott, the longtime girlfriend of frontman Mick Jagger.

The band plans to reschedule the seven performances, which ranged from March 19 to April 5, according to an e-mailed statement today.

“Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood wish to thank all of their fans for their support at this difficult time and hope that they will fully understand the reason for this announcement,” the band said in the statement.
