March 6 (Bloomberg) -- Sanix Inc., a provider of sanitation services, will invest 845 million yen ($8.2 million) to set up a facility to make inverters for solar power generation systems as installations expand in Japan.

The new plant, to be located in the southern prefecture of Saga, will start running in August, the Fukuoka-based company said in a statement today.

Sanix, which also sells and installs solar panels, will employ 100 people at the new plant, according to the statement.
