Ghana Restores Water to Capital After Cuts, Ghanaian Times Says

Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Ghana Water Co. restored the supply of water to Accra a week after cuts created a shortage across the capital, the Ghanaian Times newspaper reports, without saying how it got the information.

The Weija treatment plant, about 22 kilometers (14 miles) west of the capital, was reopened after a leak was repaired on a 40-inch transmission pipeline, the newspaper said.
