Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- A Toray Industries Inc. unit will build a 5.8-megawatt solar power station in southwestern Japan with Fujipream Corp., a Japanese solar-panel maker.
The 2 billion yen ($20 million) station in Fukuoka prefecture is expected to start on Oct. 1, Toray Engineering Co. and Fujipream said in a statement today.
Tokyo-based Toray Engineering will be in charge of construction, operations and maintenance while Fujipream will supply panels, according to the statement.
