Feb. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Etihad Airways PJSC, the third-biggest Middle Eastern airline, said police are questioning passengers off a service from Australia that diverted to Indonesia following a “series of incidents.”
Flight EY461 from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi arrived four hours behind schedule after first touching down in Jakarta, an Etihad spokesman said by e-mail. The service had departed yesterday evening and arrived in the Gulf this morning, he said.
Abu Dhabi police are also interviewing crew members from the Boeing Co. 777-300ER wide-body plane as part of the probe. Etihad said it will release further information when available.
