Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Wpd AG, a closely held German wind-power developer, is building two power plants totaling about 14.4 megawatts in southern Ontario.
The Springwood and Whittington wind farms will use seven turbines from Senvion SE, formerly REpower Systems SE, Bremen-based Wpd said today in a statement on its website. Both projects are expected to go into operation this year.
