Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- The Milwaukee Brewers and free agent pitcher Matt Garza have reached an agreement on a four-year contract worth $52 million, Fox Sports reports, citing an unidentified person familiar with the negotiations.
Garza split the 2013 Major League Baseball season between the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers, compiling a 10-6 record with a 3.82 earned run average in 24 starts. Over eight seasons, the 30-year-old right-hander is 66-66 with a 3.84 ERA.
