Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Nordex SE, a German maker of wind turbines, won 37.6 megawatts of orders in Turkey.
Nordex will supply six of its 3-megawatt machines to the Cesme RES project near Izmir for ABK Cese Enerji Ureti A.S., it said today in a statement on it website. It will also deliver four 2.4-megawatt turbines to the Aliaga RESD project for Akca Holding and expand the Akres wind farm with four 2.5-megawatt machines for Karesi Enerji, it said. It didn’t give terms.
Nordex secured 160 megawatts of orders in Turkey last year and has installed 710 megawatts in the country, the Hamburg-based company said.
