Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Egger Group, an Austrian manufacturer of wood-panel products, completed a plant in Romania that will use waste wood to generate power and heat.
The company invested 35 million euros ($48 million) to build the 83-megawatt plant in Radauti in the country’s northeast, Tyrol-based Egger said in an e-mailed statement. The facility will use waste wood from Egger’s nearby factory and feed energy back to its production lines.
