Jan. 10 (Bloomberg) -- SoWiTec International GmbH, a German renewable-energy developer, won contracts in Brazil last month to supply power from three wind projects and a solar farm with 102 megawatts of total capacity.
The wind projects in the northeastern municipality of Mulungu do Morro will have 72 megawatts of total capacity and were awarded contracts in a Dec. 13 government auction, Sonnenbuehl-based SoWiTec said today in a statement.
The 30-megawatt solar farm in the northeastern municipality of Santa Maria da Boa Vista was awarded a contract in an auction organized by the state of Pernambuco on Dec. 27, according to the statement.
