Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Nordex SE, a German maker of wind turbines, won an order from developer Wpd AG to supply a power plant in Finland.
Nordex will supply 11 of its 3-megawatt machines to the Makikangas project in western Finland, the Hamburg-based company said today in a website statement, without disclosing financial terms. The plant will generate enough energy for 24,000 homes.
